Had the pulled pork, baked potato and broccoli. Food arrived promptly and was hot. Everything tasted fresh and was very good. Will definitely be coming back. Manager and waitress were very nice.
We always have a great experience here. We sat at the bar and Steve did a great job taking care of us! From our cornbread appetizer to our main course sandwiches and of course the adult beverages, we're outstanding! It was nice that the new manager, Missy, even came and checked in on us to make sure our experience was top-notch.
Impressive Bar and BBQ Place. I stopped into Smokey Bones after seeing a few locations during my travels. I was curious about the food and the vibe and decided to give the Grove City Ohio location a try. Smokey is a commercial chain of Barbecue restaurants around the USA serving up their versions of classic barbecue dishes. I was seated very quickly and my server came to my table very quickly. I told them that this was my first visit and they helped me choose starters and my main course. Each table at Smokey Bones has an assortment of barbecue sauces that you can try to see which one or ones you like. I started my meal with a cup of chili and the Korean Pork Belly Pops which is slow-cooked, tender pork belly, flash-fried until it's crispy and then topped with Smokey Bones Korean BBQ sauce. These pops were flavourful and more filling than I thought which left me with only a smaller portion option for my main course. I then ordered the Texas-style beef Brisket Platter that comes with two sides. The Brisket was moist and tender with a good amount of smokiness permeating through the meat. My sides were fire-roasted corn and Barbecue baked beans. Both sides were a great compliment to my meal. I was impressed with the place, the alcohol selection, the vibe, the service and the food as well. I most likely will try Smokey Bones again in another city to see how it compares to the Grove City location.
This is the first time that I have been here in many years and I was pleasantly impressed. I ordered a side salad with bacon vinaigrette and a piece of grilled chicken. My server wasn't exactly sure how to ring it up but he figured it out. The salad was very good and the grilled chicken was the best! My husband ordered the chili and was very satisfied with his dish. The hot cornbread was amazing with the honey butter. We were there later in the evening and the restaurant was pretty calm and quiet which is what we enjoy. We will definitely be back! I want to try their lunch menu next time.
